The Pacific Coast territory will host an combine / trials on Saturday, August 6th 2011 in conjunction with the National Club 7s Championships at Treasure Island, SF, CA.

This open tryout will be one of the vehicles used in selecting the 12 players that will be on the Pacific Coast Grizzly 7s team that will travel to the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA  August 24 – 28 in order to compete in the National All-Star 7s Competition.

All seven territories plus the Collegiate All-Americans will enter teams in the National Sevens All-Star Championships.  From these 96 players 20 will be chosen to train together and 12 will be selected as the US National 7s Rugby team that will participate in the Pan Am Games in Mexico in October, 2011 and also in the IRB Sevens Series for 2011/2012.
